In studio or plein-air, it's the joy of creating!
Painting daily in my studio overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, I am located in my hometown of New Waterford,Nova Scotia. Local landscape and culture energize my paintbrush and imagination.
A 2006 elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters In Watercolour (CSPWC), I have been profiled in the Canadian "Who's Who" since 2002.
With watercolour, and occasionally oil or acrylics, my many artistic interests are evident in both national and provincial awards for a 60" acrylic mural design , Cape Breton Regional Hospital (1995-2010), and for nominations at the regional and national level for children's storybook illustration.
My watercolours have been selected for inclusion in the Canada/France Watercolour Exposition 2018, CSPWC Diploma Collection, the CANSCAIP National Tour, the Nova Scotia Art Bank and the Cape Breton University permanent collection, and been commissioned for the nationally televised series "Pit Pony".
My watercolour entries have found acceptance in provincial, regional, national and international juried art exhibitions.
